Spring Sports Plagued by Weather

“Spring sports plagued by weather” is true headline. After having two matches cancelled due to weather, Wednesday proved a different challenge. Because of PSEO classes and a college visit, two of our top players could not play a tough rival in Carlisle. So everyone moved up a position or two and played great matches. Congratulations to Jake Trapp for winning his first singles match at 3rd singles, to Ryan Carrier for winning at 1st singles, and to Micah Crossgrove for winning at 2nd singles and who is now unbeaten at 5-0.

In the top of the eighth inning Senior Wyatt Myers led off with a monster home run to right field to give Waynesville their first lead of the game.
